Graduate Programs Admission Checklist

1. Completed Application Form:
   Fill out the application form for the graduate program of interest, ensuring all sections are complete.
2. Bachelor’s Degree Certificate:
   Submit a certified copy of your undergraduate degree certificate from a recognized university.
3. Official Undergraduate Transcripts:
   Provide official transcripts showing all courses taken, grades received, and your cumulative grade point average (CGPA).
4. Proof of Identity:
   Provide a valid identification document, such as a passport or national ID card.
5. Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume:
   Submit an up-to-date CV or resume outlining your academic background, work experience, and any relevant skills.
6. Letters of Recommendation:
   Provide two to three letters of recommendation from academic or professional references who can vouch for your qualifications and potential for graduate studies.
7. Statement of Purpose or Research Proposal:
   Write a statement of purpose (for coursework-based programs) or a research proposal (for research-based programs) explaining your academic interests, research goals, and career aspirations.
8. Proof of English Proficiency:
   International applicants or those from non-English-speaking countries must submit proof of English proficiency (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS scores) unless their previous education was in English.
9. Application Fee:
   Submit the non-refundable application fee as per the university’s requirements.
10. Work Experience (if applicable):
    Some programs may require professional work experience. If applicable, submit letters from employers or supervisors detailing your role, responsibilities, and tenure.

Additional Documents (if applicable to both Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions)

• Transfer Students:
  Students transferring from other institutions must submit a transcript from their previous university, along with course descriptions or syllabi for credit transfer evaluation.
• International Students:
  International students must submit proof of visa status, residency permits, or equivalent legal documentation for studying in Somaliland.

Application Submission and Deadlines:

• Make sure to submit your complete application package before the specified deadline. Late applications may not be considered for admission in the desired intake.
